The Gain Without Pain Therapeutic Massage Clinic offers Focused Touch Shiatsu, shiatsu-swedish combination treatments, and medical massage with Evan Davis. Shiatsu is effective not only as an aid for general pain and stress reduction but often provides relief from discomfort associated with a wide variety of ailments, some of which are outlined above.

Focused Touch Shiatsu is a point-specific deep muscle massage that can help relieve pain from many ailments associated with the neuromuscular, myofascial, musculoskeletal, craniosacral, and lymphatic systems of the body. Shiatsu disperses lactic acid and other metabolites from sore muscles, breaks down adhesions, increases flexibility, promotes increased range of motion, improves circulation and lymphatic drainage and, in general eases tension and encourages relaxation.

Clients may receive shiatsu through their clothes--preferably light, non-restrictive clothing--or through full coverage sheets. Clients preferring a shiatsu-swedish treatment may wish to take advantage of full coverage sheets. Complete propriety is always maintained.
